My Little Brother
In my short life, there are many experiences that could qualify as life-changing. Every new experience was, at one time or another, the first experience. For good or bad, each instance changed the course that my life has taken. But, the most transformative experience was the birth of my youngest brother.
Joel is someone my parents often call a happy accident. At the time that my mother became pregnant, I was 13, and my other brother, Jake, was 10. We were what you would call a well-rounded, perfect family of four. We neatly fit into the perfect classification in nearly every way. We didn’t realize what we were missing until the moment that my youngest brother first opened his striking blue eyes.
In truth, I resented the fact that I would be having another sibling. Nothing needed to be added to our family, and my mother, already 38 at the time, was considered high risk because of her age. The pregnancy itself was full of complications that sent the straight course of my life into rollercoaster-like loops that my 13-year-old mind had a hard time comprehending. But now, I can see how forging through those loops helped me to roll with the punches that life inevitably brings
The day Joel was born, my mother took me with her to the hospital rather than my father. It wasn’t a planned move, but Jake and my father were both feverish; I was the next best alternative. Sitting with her through every contraction, I gained a new respect for just how powerful and strong a woman could be in what might be considered their weakest moment. Holding her hand and feeding her ice chips, I gained a connection with my mother that I didn’t realize we were lacking.
The moment my new baby brother came into this world, I realized two things nearly simultaneously. First, you don’t realize how much you need something until it’s sitting in your lap. Second, my life after this moment would never be the same. The moment he curled his chubby little finger around mine, I understood the words “happy accident” completely.
There are many different experiences in life that have changed a part of me as a person. But, nothing so profoundly changed my views and outlook on life like the birth of my youngest brother. Joel’s arrival was a life-altering event that caused me to see the world through new eyes.

Reading my favorite book
When it comes to books, I didn’t understand the appeal. I’d read one after another for each assignment not understanding what all the fuss was about. However, the moment I read Pride and Prejudice, it was like my literary eyes opened for the first time. It stirred love within me for classics I didn’t realize could exist.
When I was first given the assignment of reading Pride and Prejudice, like many of my friends, I scoffed. With an eye roll, I internally calculated how much time I would have to read the book and write a report. I sighed at the loss of time with my friends for a stupid classic.
Cracking open the cover, I was determined to hate it before even reading the first words. By the time I reached page 3, I nearly called it quits. But there was something about Elizabeth Bennet that quietly piqued my interest. I can’t say where, but somewhere along the way, my eyes devoured the pages instead of trudging along.
The moment I reached the end, I was ecstatic and disappointed at the same time. Their ending had been perfect, but I realized I would miss them. Not only them, but I would also miss being part of their world.
It was the first time characters of a story had affected me this way, so I tried to shake it off. However, after several days, that sadness carried me to the classics section of the school library. The moment I cracked open my next classic, my soul instantly felt more at ease, and I’ve never looked back.
I never thought I’d say a book changed me, but in this case, it’s true. The love I found in Pride and Prejudice introduced me to a beautiful world of classic literature I can’t imagine living without. Despite not reading Pride and Prejudice for a while, it will always be my favorite book.

Creative Communication
I’ve always felt I excel in written communication. The skill of effectively communicating my thoughts and feelings through words and expressions seemed to come easily to me. However, I didn’t realize how much my writing was lacking until my thoughts and feelings on writing were pushed nearly to their breaking point through my creative writing course.
Learning the best way to manage time was a huge hurdle for me. I’ve always been a procrastinator. However, after the first day of class, I realized I would need to modify my thinking and approach to homework. I wasn’t able to completely kill the procrastination habit I developed in high school, but I did learn some much-needed time management skills. I also learned how writing without the looming cloud of a deadline could open a creative door.
A natural thinker and writer at heart, I thought I understood creative expression and wordplay… until my professor handed me my first grade. Upon looking at that striking “D” on the paper, I realized I would have to push myself harder and explore the depths my writing could reach. Not only did I learn to sharpen my technical writing chops, but I have found out how to dig into my creative soul to view my emotions and experiences in a whole new way.
Going beyond the five-paragraph essay and fully exploring my feelings about a situation or action was challenging. This creative writing class pushed me to realize there isn’t a limit on words when it comes to expressing something. I can convey a simple action a million different ways, and I mastered how to explore each one to find perfection in my written words. I also picked up new flexibility in my writing by opening my mind to different scopes of expression.
Expressing all the changes that this class wrought in my writing is truly difficult. But, over the course of the eight weeks we spent together, I became a more competent writer. Not only do my words contain more depth and soul, but my writing itself has entered a whole new arena I didn’t realize was possible. By studying new techniques and researching other approaches, I now have a sturdy foundation and a robust writing arsenal for future endeavors.

The Value of Friendship
True friendship is one of the most important assets that human has and true friendship surpass any obstacle and test of times. We are born as social beings and no human can live alone like an island.
Although this is taken literally most of the times, no one understands the value of those around you not until you are left alone one day in a situation you need help. Grieve (2008) assert that in every aspect of our life, we interact with people in different ways. It is through interaction with people that we are socialized to the society. However it is not everyone in our life that we get along with.
There are individuals who we become close confidants to, who we can term as true friends. Although it is usual to make and lose friends, there are friends who have a great impact in our life and whose memory lives to our old age. These are who we call true friends. True friends are hard to come by and when we lose them, we do feel that a part of us has been taken away.
A true friend is one who is ready to sincerely do anything for you in value of your friendship. However most of the times we take our friendship for granted and we may not be committed to like our friends are. According to Donegani et al., (2006) despite this, true friendship will survive all odds and the bond between the two friends survives beyond the reason for the end of their friendship.
True friends are bonded by a strong bond in a way that although they may be separated psychically, their hearts longs for the other and what remains in their friendship is the melancholic memories of the times they shared together.
A wise saying says no one knows the value of water until the well dries and this can be applied to our friends. We never know the value of our friends not until we are separated. As we said, most of the time will be taking our friendship casually not realizing their value in our life.
However when we are separated, we start seeing difference in our life. Lonely moments starts crawling in our life and we spend long days thinking about the good times we had before. Although we may try our foot in making other friends, we never fell satisfied. We still miss the days we spend with our friends. It is true to assert that true friendship surpass any obstacle and test of times
During my high school days, I learnt the value of friendship in the hard way. I was sad and lonely girl in my childhood as I grew at home as the only child. My parents were both full time workers and I spent most of my time in the house alone.
My life brightened when I went to school as I interacted with other children and made friends. Among the friends I made in my junior school, Jane could be considered as a true friend. Our friendship blossomed as we were in the same class and lived in the same neighborhood. We spent our time together, played together, ate together, and bonded the same bus to school; our friendship was the center of our life.
We were close confidant with one another and we shared our innermost feeling. Furthermore we were faced by the same condition at home since Jane was still the only child in the family and her parents were full time worker.
When we were not in school, we spent our time together either in our home or in their home. I cherished each and every moment I spent with Jane. I felt a different person in her company, my eyes brimmed with happiness and my heart was filled with joy like child curdled by her mother. I felt like Jane was my sister and I real took her like my sister.
On our birthday, we showered each other with gifts and up to date, I still have the old doll that she bought me on my eight birthdays. However, fate had it that our friendship would not grow beyond out middle classes. When we went to high school, things changed rapidly which left me a lonely person in life.
I have come to believe that very precious things which you value most in you life are the one which you are most likely to lose and in a more painful way. I did not think that our friendship with Jane be broken by any third party.
However this came to in our first year in high school. Our parents had decided to take us to the same high school since they realized the value of our friendship and they encouraged us to be there for each other. One day, Jane came running to be in a very upbeat mood. I could see that she was very excited and she told me that something very wonderful had happened in her life.
I was very happy to see my friend that much excited but little did I know that the unfolding news would change our friendship and affect me in a great way. Jane informed that she had fallen in love with Kelvin, who was a new boy just admitted to the school. She informed me that Kelvin had approached her and she cold not resist since she had strong feelings towards him.
I advised her about the difficulties she may face dealing with her boyfriend and committing her time to education but she assured me that she would manage it. Upon pondering the news, I told her that this was her decision but I cautioned her to be very careful. She promised me that she would be extra careful and would not relent on her educational goal of becoming a doctor. However, I had one concern about our friendship.
I felt that Jane would spend most of her time with her new boyfriend. With a thoughtful expression, I asked Jane: “Is your new friendship going to a break up our close friendship?” Jane looked at me and replied straight to my face “Don’t by like that, of course you know that I love you more that anything. You are my best friend and nothing can separate us.
Don’t you believe me?” for something thins were as usual but with time I noted that Jane was avoiding my companionship and she was spending more time with her boyfriend. I started feeling sadder and lonely. My childhood days crawled back in my life. When I thought about the words Jane had uttered straight to my face, I felt she was a liar and she did not value me at all. With time, our friendship died away and I felt sadder.
One day, Jane borrowed my book and she lost it. I could not control my anger and I hurled words at her, calling her a liar and an untrustworthy friend. She reiterated and hit me hard with her lunch box. Our friendship was as dead as a dodo.
Only melancholic memories of our past that remained, hunting me on daily bases. This was just the beginning and more lonely days came when we were separated after high school. However, true friendship does not end and although you may be separated physically, you are together at heart.

The Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Seen
Majestic scenery, wilderness, and wildlife make up the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Millions of people travel to the United States to visit Yosemite National Park every year, but for me, it was more than just a national park, it was the most beautiful place I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Drenched in history, the Yosemite National Park was first discovered by Native Americans over 10,000 years ago, and we can thank President Abraham Lincoln who first signed a grant in 1864 to permanently protect the land. Yosemite was one of the first territories preserved for its scenic beauty, public use, and continued enjoyment.
The Yosemite National Park is renowned worldwide for being one of the most beautiful national parks to visit. It situate in Central Sierra Nevada of California, and 95% of the park officially class as wilderness (that is huge considering the entire park covers 1200 square miles)!
I will never forget to look up to witness the most incredible, dramatic waterfalls pounding down from sheer cliff edges. Awe-inspiring granite cliffs and crystal clear streams surrounding me and putting the power of nature into perspective. If you have ever considered exploring the Yosemite National Park, please give yourself plenty of time to do so. A week was not long enough for me!
Placing the enchanted landscapes to the side; my main inspiration to visit Yosemite stemmed from all the stories I had heard of wildlife living in peace and protection in their natural habitats. I had read about wild coyotes, black bears, mountain lions, river otters, pumas, panthers and over 200 species of birds circling the area! Of course, you are not guaranteed to see everything, but by giving myself a week there, I was able to see quite a lot.
Useful & Interesting Fact!
According to various articles, there are approximately 400-500 black bears in Yosemite but it is important you know what to do should you ever come face-to-face with one of them. Yes, they are gorgeous to look at and watch (I had the pleasure of seeing four black bears during my time there) but, as you will be aware, they can be dangerous if you find yourself too close. Maybe easier said than done but try not to show fear if this happens. Stand your ground, raise your arms and make almighty loud noises!!! It says that bears will most likely be scared away.
My top 5 things to do in Yosemite National Park:
Visit Yosemite Valley
Described as the most stunning location in the whole of America, the Yosemite Valley is of course not to miss. It is seven miles long and less than a mile wide accommodating the Merced River which flows through it. Here I was lucky enough to witness how the deer and coyotes live; to say this was an enjoyable experience would be an understatement.
Visit Yosemite Falls
It is the highest waterfall in the Yosemite National Park and the fifth-highest waterfall in the entire world. The impact of the water as it hits the base of the lower fall echoes through much of the valley and if you are lucky you will witness the most magical rainbow on a sunny day. It is a common sight for explorers!
El Capitan Rock Climbing Mecca
Rising more than 3,000 feet straight up from the Yosemite Valley floor, this is said to be the single largest piece of granite in the world! This world-class destination for experienced climbers is a wonder to climb, and I loved every second of it.
Yosemite Tunnel View
This iconic scene is one of the most stunning things I have ever seen. It allows the perfect balance of sights including El Capitan on the left, Half Dome in the center and Bridalveil Fall on the right! It’s one of the first views you will encounter upon entering the Yosemite Valley and will leave you speechless.
Mariposa Grove
Just wow! Have you ever had the pleasure of seeing the majestic Redwood Trees? These are known to be the largest living thing in the world and can grow up to 85m in height. Visit the Mariposa Grove for a full dose of these enormous trees and the ‘Grizzly Giant’ which is believed to be over 2,700 years old.
Are you an adventurer, an explorer of all things wild and beautiful? I sure am.
Hiking, backpacking, and skiing are all possible at this magnificent area of the world. I spent time indulging in the action packed sports activities such as snowboarding, white-water rafting, hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing the sheer cliff edges at the Yosemite National Park! The wilderness is a real escape from the stresses of modern day civilization, and you can rely on the bubbling natural hot springs to soothe your mind and energy. It is just my experience of this mind-blowing landscape; there is so much more fun to have.
The Yosemite National Park is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, and I recommend it to you.

A good friend
A good friend is the only relation which we earn in whole life. To find a good friend who is loving, caring, helpful, honest, loyal, and most important compatible. This is the biggest achievement of us which we get in the form of a true friend. Undoubtedly, we always learn something new and exciting in the company of our good friends from childhood. A pleasurable time spent with friends is a kind of some happiness that can’t be express. Whether you make group study or enjoying someone’s birthday party it is always enjoyable with friends.
What is a Friend?
A good friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is somebody you can always count on when times are a hard time. The dictionary’s definition of a good friend is a person who attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
Friendship means at ease with and liking of each other’s mind. A friend is one who appreciates a person’s skill. A good friend helps or encourages to make the right choices and do not get into any trouble at all.
Importance of Good Friend
Since childhood, friendship helps in making us understand and grow the habit of sharing and caring. Small kids develop friendship quicker and enjoy the company of their friends. They play and learn together. Friends are essential for their proper growth and development.
What makes a Good Friend?
Good friends are always caring, loving, loyal, passionate, a little bit critic of you. These qualities make a friend as a good friend. So, the person who talks behind your back and laughs at you can never be your good and true friend.

What to Do WhenYou’re Caught in a Lie
People lie, on average, one to two times per day. While the percentage of lies told by a person, the conditions under which we lie, and the degree to which the truth gets stretched all vary, research agrees — we all do it sometimes. Given the prevalence of lying, it seems inevitable that, at some point, we are going to get caught.
Many people, however, don’t see it that way. Most of us believe that our lies actually work — mainly because it takes a rare person to confront us. But frequently there are cues, if we’re willing to see them, that indicate skeptical doubt, even outright disbelief, on the faces of those we lie to.
I recently encountered this during a client’s business review meeting. An executive, let’s call him Greg, was giving a presentation about the financial state of his company. As Greg explained the reasons behind the previous period’s shortfalls and his forecast for the next, people in the room seemed to grow uneasy and even troubled. Their knowing glances around the table and the awkward innuendo underneath their questions implied that they weren’t buying his explanations. Later, I pulled Greg aside and shared that some of his colleagues seemed skeptical. There were, however, a few ways he could begin to repair the damage.
If you sense that spinning information, denying a mistake, embellishing data, or exaggerating a contribution has backfired, don’t assume things will be OK after the painful silence or furrowed eyebrows subside. Your reputation is now in question. Here is how you can earn back some of your credibility.
First, reflect on why you lied. When I asked Greg why he embellished his data, he told me that he felt as if he had no other choice. “I was the newest salesperson at the time,” he said. “Everyone expected me to fail, and I felt like an outsider.” His desperate need to belong drove him to try to purchase acceptance.
Dishonesty is never random. Underneath our lies are unmet needs that we believe lying might satisfy. Identifying these needs is the first step to finding healthier ways to fulfill them.
Think about the last time you lied at work. Did you feel overlooked or unfairly judged by your boss? Did you fear your mistake would be more harshly criticized than warranted? Do you think your company’s “we learn from mistakes” slogan applied only to “the favorites,” and not to you? Or were you reacting to a larger organizational issue? My research on dishonesty, a 15-year longitudinal study on conditions that predict why people lie in organizations, reveals that some companies may be unwittingly creating circumstances that actually encourage us to lie. For example, when we feel our work is being unfairly evaluated, we are almost four times more likely to be dishonest.
Whatever your motivation, remember that identifying why you lied in no way excuses it. You may be tempted to quell any lingering feelings of shame with self-justification for lying in the first place. “It’s not fair…,” “I deserve this…,” and “Why should I have to…” are all defenses we use to rationalize deception. If you catch yourself defending your lies, that’s a clear signal that you are avoiding something deeper. Instead, ask yourself, “What underlying fears am I trying to protect?” Remember, dishonesty often provides no more than a momentary surge of false regard in the eyes of others.
Assess the credibility damage. While not easy, it’s important to gauge the degree to which others may have withdrawn their trust. Pay attention to how people now respond to you. Is your opinion being solicited less? Are things you say being engaged differently than before? In cases where your credibility has eroded over time, you may notice that there are meetings you are no longer invited to, or projects for which you haven’t been asked to contribute — even though your expertise is a natural fit.
As you recognize signs of weakening credibility, you may be triggered to lie even more to regain it. Resist your natural instinct to diminish the extent of the damage. Doing so will only perpetuate a cycle of deceit. Instead, evaluate the gap between the reputation you want and the reputation you have. Do you want to be known as someone with great ideas who delivers on commitments? Or as the go-to leader who can solve the toughest problems? Once you are clear on this, you can more accurately evaluate the degree of doubt you may have raised by attempting to dishonestly engineer that reputation.
Understanding this will help you identify different choices you can make in the future — choices that reflect the person you want to be at work and reduce your compulsion to “fake it.”
Look for ways to demonstrate self-honesty. It’s doubtful that your colleagues are asking themselves why you lied or looking for ways to give you the benefit of the doubt. It’s more likely that what they now wonder about is your capacity for honesty.
In some cases, they may also be questioning other aspects of your character. For example, if you exaggerated your contribution to a project or covered up a mistake, they may be doubting your capacity for humility as well as honesty. You may not have the opportunity to outright confess that you lied. Political conditions inside many companies often make such admissions too risky. (Although if you feel it’s safe to do so, by all means, take responsibility for your actions.) However, once you identify the conclusions people have drawn about you, you can practice demonstrating honesty in ways that refute them.
Sticking with the above example, if your humility is being questioned, genuine expressions of self-doubt about your ideas, self-deprecating acknowledgements of things you aren’t good at, and affirmations of others’ greater abilities can remind people that you aren’t all bad and that aspects of your integrity are still intact.
In cases where you feel relieved for not getting caught in your lies, don’t conclude that people were fooled into believing things about you or your work that aren’t true. You now have the dubious task of sustaining their perception, which may require more lies. Free yourself from this self-destructive cycle. Take stock of the conditions under which you are tempted to lie. Be honest about what legitimate needs you are trying to meet, and what legitimate reputation you are trying to form. Doing so will help you find more legitimate ways to do both.

My Family
A family at first glance can be simple to define, but if one truly delves into what constitutes a family, it gets muddier. Though we are supposedly born into a family, we can also acquire a family, or a group people closer to you than your blood relatives. This is what happened to me: I found a collective of people that are now more dear to me than my natural-born family.
I have had a strong familial bond with my parents and extended family thus far, but that did not stop me from building a stronger connection with a different group of individuals. I believe I found my true family in the spiritual collective of Sahaja Yoga Meditation. Within my own family, people’s egos assert themselves and try to guide each other to go a certain way. All my relatives have beliefs about what is right and what is wrong, and judge my life on these precepts. However, within the collective of Sahaja Yoga Meditation, we believe each person is their own master, and interprets wisdom and knowledge based on his or her own experience.
Also, within my natural-born family, there is the drinking of alcohol, smoking, and other activities that I do not enjoy to engage in or watch. Sometimes I feel like an outsider when I am at family parties or gatherings. I do not drink alcohol, smoke, or chase after women, and some of my family members partake in these practices. While my family is in a strange state from the drugs, and I sit and witness their behaviour, I get confirmation once again that I do not want to be in that state. In Sahaja Yoga Meditation, there is not much talk about avoiding these activities; however, through the practice of meditation, we arrive at the conclusion that these acts are detrimental to our being. The practitioners of Sahaja Yoga Meditation commonly do not drink alcohol, smoke, or try to be a serial dater. In this way, I connect better with people from this group than my own family.
I have been a spiritual person most of my life, even in my childhood. I have been rarely interested in money or monetary gain. For the majority of my life, my attention has been on creativity: writing, playing music, art, and more. The thought of money only comes when I have to deal with it in an official capacity. This outlook varies greatly from most of my family members’ perspectives, whose focus is on material gain and worldly reputation. They buy many books on how to get rich, how to gain prominence, how to be a leader, and such. When conversations draw into this arena, I feel left out, as I am not interested in such ideas. I believe, and most practitioners of Sahaja Yoga Meditation believe, that real gain is spiritual. This spiritual richness manifests in one’s character, being connected to the flow of life, and having a joyful life.
And I believe that this is the key: a family is where you feel joy with others. It is not based on blood and attachment, but connection. In that connection, we can experience a state of true joy. Without this joy being present, even if you claim that a family is a family for you, what will you garner from such a group of people?

My Hometown Is Still in My Heart
The most inimitable place to be, is Harrogate, Tennessee. The rolling hills, clean crisp air, and spaciousness all surpass the city life. The memories and joy I experience when I am there will always have a special place in my heart.
My house resided in the country. A cow field was my backyard, and I would play hide and seek with my friends behind the hay bales. From the moment we got home and put our Bratz Doll backpacks down until the moment the pinkish, yellow sun was setting, my friends and I were always in a new adventure. At times, the golden rays would shine and radiate without a cloud in the sky. The gentle breeze was just enough to make it comfortable. The grass had already dried from the early morning dew, making it look freshly cut and greener than ever. As we would run around making up games to play, my black and white English Springer Spaniel, otherwise known as Bubba, would follow us eagerly with his wet teeming tongue hanging out of his parched mouth and his tail wagging like a hammer in an ongoing alarm clock. In Knoxville, the population and space is far too crowded to enjoy pleasures like those in Harrogate. In a way, it is suffocating here, and I miss the feeling of peace and contentment when at home.
During winter season, it would snow fervently. My yard also consisted of a rather giant slope. Due to many hills and back roads that would get black ice very easily, school was called off frequently. My friends and I would get so excited and call each other to make plans to go sledding! I would jump in my thick, white leggings and blue nylon pants along with three pairs of socks and waterproof shoes. On top I would have two under shirts, two regular shirts, a small jacket, a large heavy jacket and a toboggan on. Layered and ready for the cold, I would run outside and find my aqua green plastic sled from underneath the back porch. It was crisp and cold outside, and the snow was a clean white ready to be destroyed by the power of my sled. Hours later our paths would be perfectly carved in the snow, and we would be ready to go in and change to dry clothes, watch a movie, and drink a cup of hot chocolate. Snow doesn’t fall in the city, and even if it did, there is no room to go sledding. These memories will not be forgotten.
When summertime came around again, the park was a popular place to be. I always made new friends, and there was always so much to do with these new acquaintances. Activities consisted of playing basketball at the court, playing in the sand, riding bikes, and rollerblading on the trail, playing on the jungle gym and tire swing, swinging, and so much more! Once my mom and I had our picture taken on the swings and put in the Knoxville News Sentinel. Sometimes the church congregation would have a picnic for everyone there, and we would grill and enjoy each other’s company. Even family reunions have been held there. The people in Harrogate are country people, down to earth, and content with the simple life. They are not concerned with the greatest and latest of things. This made the events at the park so much more enjoyable.
If I could, I would go back and relive some of these memories. No matter where I go, Harrogate will be home in my heart. No matter my age, Harrogate holds some of the most memorable and cherishing parts of my life.

My First Picnic With My Friends
I was 12 when I went for my first picnic with my friends, organized by our school. I still remember it was an early Sunday morning and my father dropped me to the school for the trip. We were supposed to be taken to a zoo and a dairy factory, where we enjoyed ourselves very much.
Just a day before my picnic I bought so many eatables and food items to enjoy during my picnic. We reached the school and I bid a bye to my dad and then he left.
We entered the bus, as it was my first journey by bus so, I was a little nervous but since my friends were with me so I regained my confidence and the journey began.
The destination was quite far from our school. So to make the journey entertaining we played games in the bus, we sang songs, laughing, chatting, singing and had some snacks. I saw so many beautiful scenes during the journey, outside of the pacing bus.
When we reached the destination, It was a bright morning and the birds were chirping in joy. When we entered inside the zoo, there was a small beautiful lake at the entrance. The water was quite cool. When I went close, I saw so many different breeds of fishes, and turtles. Next to the lake we saw the peacock cage where the bird had spread its mesmerizing feathers and was dancing in joy. The whole scene was like a beautiful dream.
We took photographs and then we moved ahead to explore more about that place.
Picnic essayThe land ahead was covered with complete greenery, gigantic trees and beautiful plants. There were various cages where the animals were residing. At first I saw my favourite animal ‘tiger’ and it looked so fierce and dangerous that I just got afraid and ran away from its cage. We heard the lion roaring shut in the cage. Then I saw the cage of deer, they all were playing with each other and it was a pleasant scene. Then we enjoyed boating. We saw many different faunas like crocodile, snakes frogs and did some fishing. We then further explored the different creatures of the zoo. I took so many photographs with my teachers and friends. We were in high spirits; we just ran around and climbed the trees, shouting in joy.
After exploring the zoo we all were just starving from hunger so we all gathered at a place and had our tasty lunch that we all carried from our home.
I remember after finishing my own lunch, I ate one of my friend’s lunches too and then we started playing games. My friend carried badminton rackets with him and both of us played a match and I remember losing the match to him and we played hide and seek too. After a short game we all were taken to a toy train in the zoo.
We all sat on the train and we explored all the parts of the zoo that we were not able to see earlier. We really enjoyed ourselves and gathered so many sweet memories. Then, we packed our stuffs and we were ready to go to the other part of our picnic that was the dairy. I was not very much excited to visit the dairy, as I thought it would be a boring place and there would be nothing to do like any fun sort of thing.
When we reached the dairy we all stood up at the entrance in a queue. Then we moved in together silently. When we entered we saw a big ice cream and milk parlour and a factory where the products were manufactured. As we were the visitors so we got an ice cream and a milkshake for free and we really enjoyed it. Then we moved inside where the processing of products was being done.
The purpose of this visit was to help the students to gain some external knowledge that may help them in future. As we moved inside, the manager greeted us and took us for a short factory tour. We got ideas of how the processing was done of the raw products, how the packaging was done and what all were the requirements to successfully deliver the product to the market. Then we visited the garden area of the factory where the cattle and its feed were kept.
It was an eye’s dropping moment as everything was so well organized right from the entrance to the factory and obviously the cattle’s as well. The manager explained to us that how he managed the entire factory and this trip proved to be really beneficial for us.
